DESCRIPTION:
- Applies a business-wide set of disciplines to the planning, analysis, design, construction, and maintenance of information systems on a business-wide basis or across a major sector of the business.
- Performs business strategic systems planning, information planning, and analysis.
- Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools, such as I-CASE tools.
- Applies reverse engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.
- Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
General Experience:
- Must have five (5) years of experience in engineering, systems analysis, design, and programming.
- At least two (2) years of experience in information systems development, functional and data requirement analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design, and documentation preparation.
- At least three (3) years of direct experience in Information including Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration & Test, Implementation, and Operations & Maintenance for a > $1M Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Financial Management (FM), or Human Resources Information System (HRIS) systems project completed on-time and on-budget.
- At least three (3) years of experience in an agency-wide BPR project creating source-to-target mapping from multiple legacy systems to an ERP, FM, or HRIS system.
- At least three (3) years of experience in an agency-wide BPR project creating conceptual, logical, and physical schemas.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
