Netorian is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant (Senior).
The Quality Assurance Consultant will be responsible for creating test procedures, performing testing, and documenting the results of the tests. The position will perform regression tests of existing applications when changes are made while creating and testing code as needed. Test plans will be developed and maintained consistent with industry standards and State regulations. This position will ensure all testing procedures are followed and enforced for any development within the agency. Metrics will be implemented to determine code coverage of unit tests and other QA metrics on the development and data within the agency.

Experience:
General:
At least eight (8) years information systems quality assurance experience.
Specialized:
- At least five (5) years of experience working with statistical methods and quality standards. Must have good QA/process knowledge and possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience testing law enforcement related applications.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server creating detailed test plans.
- Experience utilizing unit tests developed in Visual Studio for regression testing.
- Experience developing SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle databases to inspect data.
Description of Work:
- Development of Unit Tests utilizing the Visual Studio Environment
- Assist and mentor other individuals to perform testing utilizing agency standards
- Develop and maintain testing procedures for the development of systems and modules
- Design and utilize regression testing prior to release of updated software
- Make recommendations for improving testing procedures through the development lifecycle
- Ensure testing procedures are enforced and being followed through the development lifecycle
- Test all code during the development lifecycle.
- Track testing results and provide feedback to the development team.
- Ensure all code is tested prior to a release to users.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
